We don't just talk.
Here's what we built.
300+ projects across industries. Here are a few we can talk about — each one live, processing real transactions every day.
Multi-Branch Building Materials Distributor
The Situation
A building materials distributor with 12 sales branches across North India — serving construction projects (builders, railways, infrastructure) and retail customers. Each branch collected orders locally and sent them to head office for fulfilment.
The Problem
Orders came in from 12 branches by phone, email, and WhatsApp. Head office manually compiled them, procured raw materials, and sent Excel-based work order sheets to the factory. Nobody had a clear picture of inventory across locations.
Project-wise procurement happened — material was bought for specific builder projects — but tracking which materials were dispatched against which project was manual. Deliveries got missed. Costing was always approximate. Month-end reconciliation took a week.
What We Built
- Centralised order management — all 12 branches placing orders through one system
- Project-wise inventory tracking — material procured, allocated and dispatched per project
- Real-time inventory visibility across branches, warehouse and factory
- Work order generation — replacing Excel sheets sent to the factory
- Procurement workflow — auto-linked to project requirements and stock levels
- Dispatch and delivery tracking — which project received what, when
- Integrated accounting — purchase, sales, and project costing in one system
"12 branches, three order types, project-based procurement, factory coordination — all running on Excel and WhatsApp. The client didn't need a website. They needed to know where their inventory was."
Signify (formerly Philips Lighting)
The Situation
Signify had operations in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka that needed proper automation. Local requirements in each country, but reporting that rolled up to global standards.
The Problem
Different systems in each country, none talking to each other. Tracking done manually. Nobody had a single reliable view of operations across the region.
What We Built
- BusinessMate ERP across Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
- Homecare management system for India operations
- DTRS — digital library running in India
- Country-specific compliance and reporting modules
- Ongoing support and enhancements for over a decade
"One project turned into three countries and 10+ years. They keep coming back because the systems work and we pick up the phone when something needs fixing."
Matrix Met Corp
The Situation
Matrix Met Corp trades aluminium scrap out of London. Complex procurement, international sales contracts, and a mountain of export compliance paperwork.
The Problem
Procurement tracked manually across suppliers. Sales contracts in spreadsheets. Export documents assembled by hand — slow and risky for international trading.
What We Built
- Complete procurement workflow — supplier quotes to goods receipt
- Sales contract management with pricing and delivery tracking
- Automated export documentation and compliance
- Integrated accounting tied to procurement and sales
- Real-time trading operations dashboard
"Scrap metal trading is nothing like standard retail or manufacturing. We had to learn the trade compliance rules, the pricing models, the documentation chains. And we did."
Centre for Science and Environment
The Situation
20+ donor-funded projects, 35 offices, 400+ field workers. Every quarter, three people would spend a full week pulling donor reports together by hand.
The Problem
Donor reports: manual, took weeks. Fund accounting (FCRA/non-FCRA): spreadsheets. Budget vs actuals: no real-time view. HR and payroll disconnected from project management.
What We Built
- Project management with budgeting and actuals
- Fund management — FCRA and non-FCRA
- Automated donor reporting per each donor's format
- HR and payroll with Indian compliance
- Procurement and vendor management
- Workflow automation for approvals
- Monitoring and Evaluation module
- Mobile app for 400+ field workers
- Complete financial management system
Halonix Technologies
The Situation
Halonix makes LED lighting in India. In 2009, they needed a technology partner who could think about manufacturing processes, not just write code. They picked us. Sixteen years later, they're still here.
Why This Matters
Nobody stays with a vendor for 16 years unless the work is good. We grew with them. New modules when they needed them. Their systems run every single day and we keep them that way.
What We Built
- Complete HRMS (Hire to Retire) — recruitment, attendance, payroll, appraisals, separation
- Warranty Management System — end-to-end product warranty tracking
- Warehouse Management — inventory, stock movements, dispatch
- Sales Demand Planning — forecasting for production, actual vs budget comparison, sales budgeting
- All systems actively used for 10+ years
"When a client stays for 16 years, it's not because of price. It's because you understand their business as well as they do."
Yellow Strip Resources Zambia
The Situation
A resources company in Zambia needed attendance, payroll and compliance management. Not Indian compliance — Zambian labour laws, Zambian tax structures, Zambian statutory deductions.
Why This Matters
This proved our HRMS architecture can adapt to any country's compliance rules. We learned NAPSA and NHIMA deduction structures, work-hour regulations, and built it all in. If we can do Zambia, we can do your country too.
What We Delivered
- Attendance with Zambian work-hour regulations
- Payroll with Zambia-specific tax calculations
- NAPSA, NHIMA and statutory deductions
- Employee self-service portal
- Management reporting dashboard
"We originally built our HRMS for Indian compliance. But the way it's architected, we can swap in any country's rules. Zambia was the proof."
Makara Initiative / TU Delft
The Situation
Makara is a smart farming platform born out of socio-hydrology research at TU Delft in the Netherlands. Backed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. They wanted a technology partner who'd build the platform with them from scratch — not a vendor.
Our Role
Technology Partner and Product Lead. Sahaj Infotech is on the core team alongside TU Delft researchers. Not a client-vendor setup — a genuine collaboration between a Delhi-based firm and a European research university.
What We Built
- Mobile app with GPS-based farm mapping
- Crop management and planning tools
- Weather-based irrigation recommendations
- Yield forecasting engine
- Expense tracking for farmers
- Web dashboard for NGOs and government with regional analytics
"A European research university had options. They picked a 50-person team in Delhi — not as a body shop, but as their technology partner on the core team."
Tyndale Biscoe Schools — TBMES
The Situation
TBMES runs four schools across Kashmir — Tyndale-Biscoe School (est. 1880), Mallinson Girls' School, The Kashmir Valley School, and TB&M School Tangmarg. 8,000+ students, each school with its own processes.
The Problem
Admissions, fees, exams, payroll, accounting — all managed separately across four campuses. No single view of the society's operations.
What We Built
- Admissions and student management
- Examination and results processing
- Fee management and collection
- Library management
- Accounting, MIS and payroll with compliances
- Student mobile app — fee payment, results, assignments, homework, alerts
Al Mashhoor Enterprises
The Situation
Al Mashhoor is a single business entity in Salalah, Oman, operating five divisions: hospitality (Al Nile Hotel, Muscat International Hotel Plaza), retail (Al-Mashhoor Supermarkets), automotive spare parts, industrial car wash, and real estate.
The Problem
Five divisions, multiple locations — all under one entity that needs a single, consolidated view of its finances.
What We Built
- Accounting system consolidating all five divisions
- One entity, one reporting structure
- Multi-location operations under single books
- Hospitality, retail, automotive, real estate — all in one system
"Five divisions running hotels, supermarkets, spare parts and real estate — all consolidated into one set of books. That's what Sahaj Accounting does."
